We invite you to go through the pictures of Madame C.J. Walker and her products in the Slide Show. Do you think every inhabitant of Harlem remembered her in the same way after she died in 1919? Why?
Do you believe any of those memories disappeared once "The Dark Tower" was demolished in 1942?

Buildings sometimes merge with their most famous dwellers, and then the building and the person became synonyms of each other. That is the case of ‘La Caza Azul’ [The Blue House], where the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo was born and died. Transformed in a museum in 1958 it is a constant reminder of what Frida meant for Mexicans, artists and women around the world. We invite you to go here and do the virtual tour of ‘La Casa Azul’. Visit its rooms and gardens. While you do it, think about the different colors that are present in this place. What do they mean to you? How colors can trigger particular emotions in people? Can they trigger memories too? If you want to know more about the life of Frida Kahlo, you can go here: http://www.biography.com/people/frida-kahlo-9359496
